Acting Masterclass

Elena Antone’s technique is a synthesis of working acting methods of such outstanding theatre practitioners as C. Stanislavsky, L. Strasberg, M. Chekhov, and V. Nemirovich-Danchenko. The key goals of her Masterclass are to develop the student’s creative potential, biomechanics, liberate the creative nature of the student, organize the work of sense organs in a public situation as well as to develop student’s abilities in feeling of space and composition, psychotechniques, skills of multi-plane attention, emotional memory and figurative thinking.

Stage Speech Dynamics

The given subject was created by E. Antone. A necessary complex of exercises including voice respiratory exercises, actions by “words” as well as working with new texts (dialogues, monologues).

Stage Movement Dynamics

This subject is important in disclosing the actor’s talent by using a complex of exercises focusing on development of movement plasticity. Comprehension of oneself through gesture and plastics of the body (biomechanics of the actor), exercises working for development of movement coordination and plastic improvisations as well as movement within the shot-frame.

Basics of Producing & Directing

This subject enables the student to understand the process of producing and directing from within an actual production. Learn the basics of producing from pre-production to production and post-production. Understand budgeting and line producing of any media related project. TSA style exercises allow the student to experience each one of the crucial positions within a production chain of responsibilities from a Production Assistant, Gaffer, Dolly-Grip to a Producer, Director, Director of Photography. Learn the basics of directing, understand the various rules and shooting guidelines of bringing a written story to life on screen.
